agreed! although being that 1984 was my favorite year for UK pop, it was a tough choice. I seem to recall a plethora of incredible singles from that year.

That's a cruel poll! Too many songs I like! Couldn't male my mind up between Fiction Factory, Propaganda, OMD and Ultravox. I do like some of the other songs a lot as well.

In the end, believe it or not, I did not vote for Ultravox. I went for Fiction Factory because I simply like the song better than One Small Day.

Interesting that 'Shout To The Top' hasn't yet recorded any votes. I always thought that was the Style Council's best single...perhaps it's just the standard of the opposition! :)

'One Small Day' - Ultravox

One Small Day.

I like Icicle Works a lot more than Ultravox, but Love is a Wonderful Color was my least favorite song on their debut.

I didn't vote because I've never heard any of these songs. Is there anyone that has the mp3s so I can hear them? If not, any suggestion on an album be any of these artists? Thanks.

It was a difficult choice, but O.M.D. was one of my favorite bands and I love Locomotion. Close behind were Ultravox (ouch!! it's so good and I love them too) and Fiction Factory. Good poll :happy:
