That's right, tonight I'm making Papa Cantella's Premium Quality Hot Italian Sausage for dinner. Made fresh, never frozen. No preservatives. No MSG added. Ingredients: Pork, Seasoning (Natural Spices, Sea Salt, Crushed Red Pepper and Garlic) and Filtered Water.

Should I fry it? Broil it? Barbeque it?

I have rice as well, so maybe I should attempt some kind of gumbo. I've got sugar snap peas as a side dish.

 Well by the time you read this you probably made up your own mind how to prepare it
But if I would have to pick how to cook it I would have chosen Barbeque it :thumb:

Like she said, you've probably already cooked it by now but here's a suggestion for the next time.

Poke a few holes in the casing of each. Slow boil it. Once in a while, scoop the oils and stuff that come up to the top and put them into a glass bowl. You can use this with liquid to boil pasta..it'll give it a great flavor.

Try this, put some dark beer on the stove and bring it to a low simmer, not boiling. Add a pinch of salt. Put the sausage in the simmering beer for thirty minutes. Keep the heat up but make sure it does not boil. After thirty minutes throw the sausage on the BBQ or grill. This gives the sausage a unique and deep flavor. Learned the trick when I lived in Germany. Hefe or Dunkel Wiesien(medium or dark wheat beer) work the best.

I say, fry it with some garlic and onions. Sprinkle some brown sugar on it near the end to make a yummy glaze.

I'm probably WAY to late for this but next time try frying them with Peppers, Onions, and Garlic.

I'm gonna have to concur with Jaiz and fry it up with some beer. Afterward slice it up and toss with some 4 cheese spaghetti sauce and some penne noodles.

Very tasty suggestions, however, I did in fact consume the sausage already. I like all your ideas, so I'll try them out over time. Thank you.

I diced it up, cubed some tomato, added a little butter to the skillet, threw it all in and fried it. Added some onion too.

Wrapped all the stuff into a soft tortilla and went to town. Purely orgasmic flavor.

Another installment in the continuing saga of 'the Champ'; a lovable, punch drunk former boxing champion whose diminished intelligence and volatile temper lead to some hilarious misunderstandings!

***********************************

**ding ding**

Hey everybody. This is the Champ. And ever since I've been the Champ I've been LOSING IT!!!!!!

Now everybody in my neighbourhood knows by looking at the size of my belly that Mrs. Champ is a great cook. Well, this neighbour of mine was divorced recently after 22 years of marriage, and he's having a little trouble fending for himself. So he shows up at my house a couple of nights ago with these Bratwurst links and asks Mrs. Champ if she'll give him a few cooking pointers. Of course, Mrs. Champ takes those Bratwursts and cooks up a great meal for him to take back to his house.

So I'm out watering the plants yesterday when my neighbour stops by to pay me a visit. He walks up and says "Hey Champ! Mrs. Champ sure made a good meal out of my sausage the other night!".

I said "pardon?".

He said, "Hey Champ! I said your wife sure made a good meal out of my sausage the other night!".

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I LOSE IT!!!!!! I SNAP!!!!!!!

I head-fake him with the garden hose, the knuckle-head falls for it, then I hit him with a LEFT-RIGHT COMBINATION and a SMOKER TO THE SOLAR PLEXUS!!!! This guy's flat on his back testing out my flower-bed for a mattress, and I said "HOW'S THAT??? HOW'S THAT 'YOUR WIFE MADE A GOOD MEAL OUT OF MY SAUSAGE' ENOUGH FOR YA???"

Ever since I've been the Champ.
