The Atari Jaguar was the first 64 bit system, and when they first came out in the 90's, I remained on the outside looking in because they were just too friggin' expensive

It had really cool games like Highlander: The Last of the MacLeods

and Alien vs. Predator

This system sucked bigtime. It wasn't 64 bit, it was 32 and all the games beside AvP just plain blew. It's the only system I've ever returned to date.

Have to disagree. The Jag had the hardware, I believe, but the software is what sucked. And did you ever play Tempest 2000??? That game freakin' rocked!! Or Defender 2000? Pretty cool as well.

Defender 2000 was cool :thumb:

Everytime I played it though, i couldn't help but laugh.. i was like "i used to play original 4-bit (i think it was 4?) 2600 Defender as a kid, and now I'm playing 64 bit Jaguar Defender 2000? I sooo never expected this!"

Your so right my love! :*
Babe, I believe we still have the system tucked away in a closet somewhere! Every once in awhile our 14yo son takes it out dusts it off and rocks Tempest 2000 and Defender 2000! It wasn't the best system ever but man it was an Atari!!! :thumb:
