The song which you heard above was Innocence, the third hit by http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/canFlag.gif Canadian band Harlequin, their first hit of the 80's.

The debut Harlequin LP Victim of A Song was a HUGE smash in 1979 due to the lead single Survive which zoomed into the http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/canFlag.gifCanadian charts

1980's Love Crimes became an even bigger success which included 3 BIG hits with: Innocence, Thinking of You and Take This Heart

the third album One False Move was again a SMASH with three more hits with: I Did it For Love, Superstitious Feeling and Heart Gone Gold

In 1984, they released of a greatest hits package titled Radio Romances, and following the release of the self-titled LP in 1985, tension in the band lead to their break-up that same year :(

In 1986, the Greatest Hits package was re-released to include songs from the 1985 album

Harlequin regrouped a few years back and now do festivals and small venues. I saw them a couple of years ago, it brought back so many memories. I Did it for Love is my favorite song from them.
