Did anyone, like me, enjoy the works of Steve Miller in the 80's?

Steve Miller was of course a very popular 70's rock and roller and managed to survive in the 80's with a bunch of hits including 1982's Abracadabra which was his third #1 hit in the U.S. and also the greatest hit of his career

His only other top 40 hit in the 80's was Heart Like A Wheel, which was actually his first hit OF the 80's and my choice for one of the top 5 best songs of 1981 :thumb:

For some reason, this song does not appear on his recently released album "Complete Greatest Hits", which in case would be a mis-leading title? You can't complete a Steve Miller Greatest Hits without Heart Like A Wheel

Ya I'm a huge fan of Steve Millers 70's stuff, couldn't stand Abracadabara and his other 80's stuff. But songs such as the Joker, Swingtiem, Take the Money and Run, Jet Airliner, Rockin Me, Danc Dance Dance, Space Cowboy are all great sitting out on the patio with friends having a beer songs

Only really liked Abracadrabra. Funny thing is for ages I thought ABC sung that song. I know they didn't, but that's what I thought.

All I've really listened to is Abracadabra... that song was always a laugh riot when I played it in college

Steve Miller had some great songs from the 70's. Here's a cool song from his "Greatest Hits 1974-1978"
