Does anyone remember the NEC Turbo Express? It was a hand held version of the http://www.videogamer.org/systeme/nec/pics/index.gifhttp://www.videogamer.org/systeme/nec/pics/index2.gif that played the same game cards (HU Cards) as the Turbo Grafx-16

It even had an adapter called "Turbo Vision" that could let you watch TV on the Turbo Express and a cable link up was also available so you could have 2-player battles with other Turbo Express owners.

I was one of the biggest fans of the Turbo Grafx/Turbo Express. When I got my TG-16, I knew it would succumb to the Genesis and the SNES, but that didn't bother me because the TG-16 looked like such a cool system, I just had to have one! :) I'd sit at home for hours playing many great games including "The Greatest NEC Game(s) Ever" Neutopia and Neutopia II

It was definitely cool, but the price alienated itself from its competitors. Also, NEC's library of games had no real support thus sealing its fate.

There wasn't really a whole lot of games NEC made that could even come close to that of the SNES or Genesis.

I still think the NEC Turbo Grafx was known for bringing home arcades games that no other system did like: Splatterhouse, Pac-Land, Bloody Wolf, Final Lap Twin, and Ninja Spirit

Bonk and TV Sports Basketball/Football were also pretty good.
