I dunno if this is a movie question or a video game question, but hence it is about a video game that appeared in a movie, i may as well ask here

This question has been on my mind ever since I saw the movie The Wizard when it came to theatres in 1989

The NES game that all the kids played in the end of the Video Armageddon was Super Mario Bros 3, but it was at the time a brand new game that no one had ever played before.

Yet somehow, little Jimmy knew where to find the warp whistle in the castle of World 1. Was the contest fixed so that perhaps Jimmy would win the Armageddon? :lol:

I LOVE this movie!! I used to hire it out all the time when I was younger. I think it was just the fact that he was so good at the video games, I mean, someone had to find it first didn't they??

True, but he knew exactly where to go, almost like he knew that it was there :)

I think it was fixed so that he would win. Maybe he slipped the host some crisp cabbage $$ prior to the start of the game and was like "I win.. get it!" :lol:

One of my favorite movies when I was younger.... I love how they "premiere" Super Mario Brothers 3 at the tournament, and Jimmy still manages to win.

Not to mention that everytime I think of the song Send Me An Angel by Real Life, I think of this movie. :thumb:
