Fay Wray..who starred in the classic KING KONG passed away. She was 96. No known cause..her family said that she just "drifted off to sleep."

Wow, She lived a very long life. RIP :rose: She'll forever be immortilized in The Rocky Horror Picture show song.

That's sad. As Slayergrrl says she lived a long life. That King Kong film enchanted me when i was a kid. I have the original and Director's cut.
The Harryhausen's did the actual monster, brought him to life.

I've never watched the 1933(?) King Kong flick, but I've heard of Fay Wray. :(

I love it when a 96-year old person dies and people say they don't know what caused their death. THEY'RE 96!!! I doubt she flipped her Vette or O.D.ed on heroin. :rolleyes: No disrespect intended, of course.

Anyway, R.I.P. Faye Wray.
