Ok, guys.....I had to have a tooth pulled yesterday..YEOUCH!...anyways, I'm supposed to be on a soft food diet for 3 days....and, frankly, I'm sick of soup, yogurt and mashed potatoes...I'm wanting to find something else to eat before I go bezerk!! (the vicodin is awesome by the way....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-weeeeeeeeeeee) So, I've come to my trusted 80s xchange family to help me out in my time of need.

Hmmmm...soft foods. How about pasta? I looooooove pasta. Spaghetti perhaps? Sloppy Joes (Manwiches) are pretty soft. Ice Cream, applesauce, eggs, tuna, canned fruit....gettin' hungry yet? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//icon20.gifhttp://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Have you tried pudding yet??? Milkshakes worked well when I had my wisdom teeth pulled out. My dentist took all 4 at once. That was painful.

No probs http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif Believe it or not, I'm actually a pretty good cook, so I know my way around food http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif My eldest niece and nephew liked watching me go once I start going off 'Bamming' like Emeril Lagasse (with my own added humor of course) http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Wonderful ideas......but, I'm craving a steak, or pizza!! Guess I have to deal with that! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif My friend suggested a blender, but a steak shake doesn't sound good at all! Blech! I even got some Slim-fast...but, kinda chalky........I'm WAY too picky! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//00hahaha.gif

Pizza?...hmmm....something close to that that's a little softer would be Lasagne http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//icon20.gif That could work http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

Steak shake?! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//yucky.gif Sounds like an element to add to the Freak File http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

No Myst.. keep the steak away from the blender!! GEEZ!!! Tired of soups? I could never get tired of soups.. then try Chicken and dumplings.. yummy!! (Dinty Moore makes a great canned Chicken and dumplings) ... chocolate mousse...mmmmmm but thats for dessert... you could still eat pizza if you didn't get the thick crust.. or just don't eat the crust.. the toppings are all pretty soft and so is the bottom crust if you get think crust.. yumm... that sounds good , too.. can you tell I haven't eaten yet today? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tinajo.gif

I love rice, too...but was informed that I cannot eat rice or seeds for at least 3 weeks. Have to wait...they can get into the hole and swell....(ewww...sounds like something for Culty's freak-file) http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Speaking of Asian food (or more specifically Chinese), ever tried Lo-Mein (sp?)? Now that's good pasta! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif I did Chinese last Sunday...awesome stuff http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//icon20.gif What's even better is that there's a Chinese food place right around the corner (as well as a pizza place, a sub place, roast beef place, Dunkin' Donuts, my hair stylist, Walgreens, CVS, a bank...all within a 5 minute walk) Think I got a little off topic there http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Anyway, talk about good positioning! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

For junkfood, there's always Cheesecake or a good Boston Cream http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//icon20.gif

Yes, I'm a foodaholic! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//eek.gif Eat a lot for a 160 pound guy http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif
