Actually, videogames aren't bad... my cousin and I got so good at "Defender" that we could go into a game room, put one quarter in the slot, and play for hours... Defender was one of the first games with more than 2-3 buttons - I think I still have calouses fropm that game.

Hi there, Allen! (Allen is the man who made the MegaModerator change, the memberlist work, and a few of the other nice options you see here) Yeah, Defender.. That was a cool game! I didn't play it a whole lot. I think all those buttons scared me! I stuck to Pac Man and Space Invaders and stuff. Then Gyruss. The easy ones.. But Defender was definatly a cool one.. I got used to many buttons later on - but could never conquer the good ones like Mortal Kombat. Those games had TOO many buttons! I was lucky if I remembered the moves for the Sony Playstation controller!

I like the Videogame Forum idea alot. The 80's were the years of arcades and home entertainment like Atari, Pong, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and so on. I would like to see this forum opened and would definately be a poster myself.

Okay, FlixFan.. I will start a forum dedicated to Video Games of the 80s. I think this could work out well because The Arcade was such a big part of my life during the 80s. And so were game systems and even computers like the Commodore 64.. Would you like to moderate this section? Do you think you could get the forum off to a start? I will try to help as well. I will be more than happy to moderate a video game forum. I really enjoy the 80'sXChange and will do my part to make it entertaining and informative. That is at least how I feel about most of the other forums.
