Hey Sal.. some of our forums are very rarely used... (except for today because MorningMyst and I are trying to collectivly dominate the forums)...

Should we combine some of the forums.. like Dance, House Music and Freestyle? Or Even put Freestyle with Rap...? I don't know.. it kind of seems like a waste of space and they may get more activity going on in them if they were combined.. Just a suggestion...

House and Dance could definitely be merged. Freestyle and Hip Hop are more noticeably unique though and should probably stay as is...

Good idea, Tina. I like it. Thanks for your suggestion! Let me think. I'm not sure I want to combine Hip Hop with Freestyle because many people consider Freestyle, well, Hip Hop! The reason for that is because Hip Hop/Rap is something CALLED Freestyle. So I'd like to keep "Freestyle Dance" with Dance kinda music. And in that case, House Music is so closely related to Freestyle AND Hip Hop, that maybe I should just combine them all. I know what you're saying, Roemello. You're right. But I really don't want Hip Hop talk mixing with the Freestyle talk. The reason is, the Hip Hop fan doesn't often like Hard Core Freestyle Dance - and vise verse... I don't know many people who can listen to TKA or Cynthia and then pop in Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg. I can, I'm sure you can - but I think we're pretty unique. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

Any further ideas would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't mind combining other forums as well. I really think there is too much scrolling going on! If these forums were active - or even a little active, I'd probably leave them. I suppose if they ever to become very active, I can always simply seperate them again at a later time...

Yup...those seem to fit well. I think if anything can be done with that mix of genres is House could be fitted in with Dance. Those two are probably the closest to eachother in style and shouldn't cause any friction.
