If you have a Gameboy Advance, then this article might interest you. It seems that Nintendo is releasing a game pack for the GBA that will resurrect some of the old favorites, to include: "Donkey Kong," "Super Mario Bros.," "Pac-Man," "The Legend of Zelda," "Excitebike," "Ice Climber," "Xevious" and "Bomberman."

Sure wish I had a GBA... :(

ooh, I have a GBA!!! I'll definetly be buying Donkey Kong, Xevious and Mario! Even though I play them using emulation, sometimes I like to have the real thing. :)

Shakey if you ever visit Australia you can borrow my GBA

I got myself a GBA SP a couple months ago... great to have when you're on the go and wanna play a quick game here and there :D I've been all over Super Mario Advance 4 lately. Emulations nice... even have the original Zelda on the GCN Zelda Collection disc, but I'll probably get this GBA version too

This little part of the article was great to read as an 80s fan :)

"It's easy to see why Nintendo is throwing its own "I Love the `80s" party. "The whole retro movement is huge right now," says Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs. From clothes to music to video games, Kaplan says '80s-related items are being devoured by teens and those of us who were teens in that era." :verycool:

Yeah, that part jumped out at me as well. I love the 80's :thumb:

I have a Gameboy color. May have to look into an upgrade. Ooh! Wait! Almost forgot. Does anyone know if Gameboy Advance games will play on the adapter for the Gamecube? Cause I have it! That would be AWESOME!. Getting to play those games on the big screen. :)

Of course! I don't have it, so I can't say that I've tried it, but I saw pics of the GBA games in action on the gameboy player in an ad that came with my GBA SP, so I'd say it's a very safe bet it'll work like a charm ;)

Just as an upadte, it seems that several of these are available at EB. Here is a link to what is available - Classic NES Series (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/products/deptpage.asp?wherefrom=search&searchword=Classic%20NES%20Series). Think I may get the Zelda game.

I got Zelda today when I got Four Swords :) I can't just walk by a Zelda game I don't have in a store and not grab it... not happenin... Even though I already got the classic Zelda on the GCN Zelda collectors edition disc, won't hurt to have another to bring around with me :p

The only other ones I saw out were Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, Bomberman and Pacman. I woulda got Mario... didn't see it :p
