Anyone know the hack for adding a link that will only return search results for the posts that were added since our last visit? So that you don't have to go through all the forums, and you can check each thread out as you go. :)

I have no clue...the closest thing we have to that is the 'today's discussions' link that turns up all the topics of the day (in EST)...which I guess is only good if ya come here daily. Given the high activity level, that's the only way to keep up with everything too...lol :)

There is an option to be able to search all topics, but we had to disable it as it puts a major drain on the server...

Can you do your own hacks? I got spoiled because one of the other bb's I frequent is full of hacks and developments (it's owned and operated by a bunch of computer geeks like me...) I was under the impression that some of the boards have the ability to do hacks and some aren't.

We (me and Sal) don't do hacks ourselves, but Sal has a guy (Allen Ayres) that's gotten us the features we do have. There's a new version of this board currently under beta testing, so until the new one's finalized, I don't think there'll be any new features added to this particular version...I think. Sal would know better than I on that note...

Roem is right. Allen does 99% of our hacks. But, we may be switching software soon so in that event, we'll have everything.
