Am I the only one in here interested in getting a comic & cartoons specific forum up & running...I'd have a blast with that <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

For me the 80s was also about some very GREAT comics <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

It was the decade that comics boomed at... least in Europe...and I started collecting 'em.

In the '80s, I watched numerous cartoons, and read and collected plenty of comics!

Transformers was my favorite '80s cartoon, as well as my favorite '80s TV show.

Also, Transformers was my favorite '80s comic. Sure, I collected numerous other comic-book titles--mostly Marvel Comics titles (yes, I was a Marvel Zombie)--but Transformers was my favorite!

The Transformers comic outlived the Transformers toy phenomenon.

In spring '91, the Transformers comic-book series came to an end.

Marvel Comics' Transformers series (it ran from '84 to '91) consisted of 80 issues.

Didn't bother with this before, but I'll answer to why there isn't one. Cartoons fit into the 80s Television forum, so that's already covered. Comics of the 80s falls right into the category of Styles and Cultures, so that's already covered too ;) Either of those forums can be used to talk about those topics all ya want ;)
