I'm not sure how difficult it is to do this but can the message board posting email notifications be enhanced? What I am getting at is that when you create a new topic in any forumn you can specify email notification if someone responds to it. WHat would be nice is that if someone responded to my response to a posting that I would get notification of that. I have seen several areas where an original posting had many user get involved but only the person who started the topic gets notification of the additional postings.

well... if you post something.. 99.9% of the time... you will get responses on this borad within a couple of hours... if you take a look around the boards, you will see that almost EVERY thread has several replies... most of us "xchangers" are here daily.. and we look over EVERY new post (pretty sad, huh?) http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//00wink.gif

The best thing I could suggest you do is.. remember which forum that you posted in... check back in when you get online, and if the "New" icon next to the forum is lit up.. than someone has reponded to a post in that forum... so it's likely you got responses already. E-mail notifications would really get out of hand.. considering the amout of posts we get daily.. (we aren't like most message boards that when you post something you have to wait for someone to respond..) it happens real quickly around here!! Lots of loyal 80s fans.. and we are loyal to our boards too...

so post away!!! We'll respond right away!!!

I had that problem for a while Myst. Check and see when it says the last time you visited the site was. I let Sal know and it turned out he was having the same prob before. Not sure what he did, but it was fixed. Been fine for me for a few months now.

There it was http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

To check the version, click on 'Help' then go down to 'about Internet Explorer' The version should be right there.
