I need some help. I keep hearing this song on the muzak where I work. It definitely sounds like an 80's tune. It's sung by a female with a real girly (as opposed to womanly) voice. It's a not-too-slow, not-too-fast tempo song. Some of the lyrics are:
"And I knew
It was true
All the things that passion can do"

and

"I need a little more time
I need to make up my mind"

and

"This feeling's getting stronger"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The song is "Give Me A Little More Time" by Gabrielle. The song is on her 1996 album "Gabrielle". It has a sort of Motown feeling to it, right?

yeah, it does kind of have a motown feel to it, now that I think about it. I'm kind of embarrased that I mistook it for an 80's song; I guess that it sounded too sweet and innocent to be written any time after that. Thanks for your help!
