The few times I saw him on snl, he wasn't that funny. There are other less funnier members, but he didn't seem to add anything. Lotsa luck, he won't be missed.

I loved the way him and the heavy set guy would interact and totally lose it on skits. That always made me laugh more.
The two I like least that I can remember are Gilbert Gottfried and John Lovitz...I know a lot will disagree but I find both of them annoying.

Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon are my fav. new team. I hope Tina keeps doing it even without Jimmy.

The hands down most annoying cast member (in my opinion of course LOL) is John Lovitz. He is just aggravating.

(I'd rather watch Jimmy Fallon recite his grocery list than have to watch a single John Lovitz skit)

Fallon was not my favorite by a looooong shot, but there were far worse.

The absolute worst comedian I have ever seen on SNL has to be Al Franken. Not only is he terminally NOT funny, but he THINKS he's hilarious, which is even more annoying.

I agree, Lisa. I can't stand either. Cheri Oteri plays the same twitching character. NOT funny Cheri.

I like Lovitz,

some of the worst in my opinion were Anthony Michael Hall, Charles Rocket, Chris Farley (I liked Tommy Boy, but couldn't stand him on SNL) and Peter Akyroyd.

I wonder how Franken and Dennis Miller got along on the set?

Fallon was pretty funny, imo. But I am sure he will have success in the movie industry just like the rest of them.

WORST cast member on SNL: Norm MacDonald :p

I kinda like Fallon. Not the funniest guy ever but he does not aggravate me.

Least funniest ? Boy, there are so many to choose from. lol

I will go with Norm MacDonald or Chris Elliot. Neither made me laugh.

Lovitz I liked and Al Franken too.

Good riddance.....he was "Chris Kattan Lite", and Kattan is only mildly funny....

I haven't watched the newer SNL shows. The 70's and 80's ones are so much better. I saw Fallon once, doing a Bobby Brown parody of "Every little step you take". It was funny, though he didn't speak. :D

there are so many great cast members from the 'old days', I can't list my favs. Dana Carvey doing Bush and his other characters was too funny.

WHAT!?!?

Jimmy Fallon is HILARIOUS, and practically my only reason for watching SNL anymore. There goes my interest in the show!

I think Lorne Michaels should flush the entire cast and writing staff, and start the whole thing anew. To me, it's "Saturday Night Dead", and it's because of people like Fallon and Fey.

Would you believe I'm a "MAD TV" viewer? It's funnier, the women are sexier (Nicole Parker, GASP AND DA-ROOL!), and since it's taped and not live, it can be edgier.

Sincerely,

I liked Fallon on Weekend Update. He and Tina Fey were a good team. Of course, it takes two people to do the job of one Norm MacDonald. Fallon was less funny in all of the other skits, but his smirky delivery on Weekend Update always made me laugh.

You say Norm MacDonald never made you laugh? You know, you gotta turn the sound up!

Franken funny? He's about as funny as a case of syphillis.

I can't stand Mad TV! I dont think the humar is clever at all. Just a bunch of cheap laughs. I'm gonna watch the best of Christopher Walken on SNL now. Should be pretty good. :D

Least favorite SNL cast members

Norm MacDonald
Dennis Miller
Al Fraken
Gilbert Gottfried

They weren't funny to me at all.

MAD TV has lost a lot of their funniest people as well.

Stuart is funny though. ;)

I kind of agree with you, Julie. The only reason why I would watch SNL was to see Jimmy Fallon. I especially loved watching him and Tina Fay do Weekend Update. They had great chemistry togheter.
I can name a few that weren't the greatest IMHO:
Gilbert Godfried (still can't stand him, except when he does the voice of the Aflack duck :p )
Terry Sweeny (the only thing I liked him was when he did Nancy Reagan)
Chris Rocket
Brad Hall (he was a good writer, but when he was in sketches he was a bad actor)
Randy Quaid (I just couldn't and still can't stand him)
Chris Eliott (you would think that with the comic blood in his veins, son of Bob Eliott of Bob and Ray fame, he'd be funny)
Jim Belushi (he's better on "Life with Jim", but on SNL he just didn't "get" me)
Norm McDonald (can't stand his nazzley annoying voice)
Mark Mcinney (sp) (he's hysterical in The Kids in the Hall, but on SNL he wasn't that funny)
