Does anyone REMEMBER a mid-80's new wavish song containing lyrics that are similar to "I have a telegram in my hand" or "I found a telegram in the sand"? It seems to me that there was a "God Bless America" refrain also, although it was so long ago, I can't really remember clearly....

That sounds like "Telegraph" by OMD from their 1983 album "Dazzle Ships."

murdock,

Sounds like you are talking about "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister off Welcome to the Real World from 85.

TJ, thanks for the info. I kind of thought thats what it was, but I wasn't quite sure. It seems I have forgotten more about the 80s then I can rememeber. must be my old age kicking in.
