I heard that Huey Lewis and the News sued Ray Parker jr. because Ray Parker
used the same beat as "I want a new drug" for "Ghostbusters" has anyone heard about this before? The songs do sound alike.

Huey Lewis sued Ray Parker Junior over the song and won (Huey Lewis was orginally asked to write a song for the movie and forwhat ever reason it didn;t happen) .

Huey Lewis won the lawsuit, but they are now being sued by Ray Parker Junior. apparently part of the court settlement was that Huey Lewis and the News were not supposed to devulge any information from the settlement and they did on a VH1 special
