Anyone know the whereabouts of Wendy and co? I beleive after her solo album she went into recluse. The drummer Tex is a solo artist, and Dave Parsons is the bassist in Bush. Dunno what happened to Nick. Here is some info I found online regarding Wendy. It concerns a guy who wants her to star in a movie being made soon.

I have the 12" single for their version of the classic Holly and the Italians tune "Tell that girl to shut up" and I have the 45 for "I want your love". That is all I know about them though.

Wendy James was involved with an English comedian called Roland Rivron, he made up one half of a novelty caberet duo called 'Raw Sex' if that rings a bell with anyone.
Recent info can be found on this site We Are Transvision Vamp (http://www.itm-ed.de/tvamp/) it may well have an email address to contact Wendy with.

It's funny i was just checking out amazons future releases section and happened on her new bands new cd! Here's the link wendy (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002QHH3U/ref=br_lf_li_1_2/026-0186454-4926052)
Its funny, I only vaguely remember this band. And know nothing about them. But, right after seeing this thread I come across this:
Former Transvision Vamp vocalist Wendy James will release a new low-fi
electronica meets punk album under the name Racine titled Number One
on Sept. 27th. James wrote and performed everything on the album
which will be released on her own Pia-K Recordings label. The album
will be preceded by the single "Grease Monkey."

I heard a cover of 'Baby I Don't Care' by a brit singer named Jennifer Ellison. It wasn't too bad, but nothing can top the vamp original :thumb:
