Elvis Costello and Diana Krall's latest duet ended with the pair saying "I do."
The bespectacled tunesmith and the jazz chanteuse tied the knot this past weekend at a ceremony outside London.
Costello and Krall were wed Saturday night at Elton John's castle.
The approximately 150 guests who attended the shindig, including Paul McCartney and Canada's consul general to New York, Pamela Wallin (Krall's a Canuck), were sworn to secrecy.
Calls to Krall's reps were not returned. A statement is expected soon from Costello's publicist.
Krall, 39, and Costello, 49, hooked up last February after meeting at the Grammy Awards in New York and were engaged by May. The two maintain homes in New York and on Vancouver Island.
It's a first marriage for Krall. Costello's previous two marriages, to Pogues bassist Caitlin O'Riordan and civilian Mary Burgoyne, both ended in divorce.
English New Waver Costello is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter who's been turning out hits like "Oliver's Army" and "Veronica" for the past three decades. He was honored for his efforts with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.
In the late '90s he collaborated with Burt Bacharach on the album Painted From Memory, which won the two a 1998 Grammy for their work on the single, "I Still Have That Other Girl." More recently, he scored three Grammy nomination for his 2002 release When I Was Cruel.
Costello has also stretched himself musically, recording with the Brodsky Quartet and Mingus Big Band. His tunes have also appeared on the soundtracks for such films as The Big Lebowski and High Fidelity, and he has guest-starred in several films, including Austin Powers 2, The Spy Who Shagged Me and 200 Cigarettes.
Krall is a jazz ingénue who enjoys mass appeal. She won two Grammys for her 1999 album When I Look In Your Eyes and a nomination in the Album of the Year category. This year she won a Best Vocal Jazz Album Grammy for her first concert album, Live in Paris.
Aside from their cozy domestic arrangement, the musical duo plan to collaborate on a tribute to Sting February 6 at the 2004 MusiCares Person Of The Year gala, alongside Tony Bennett, Elton John, k.d. lang, Dave Matthews, and Rufus Wainwright, among others.
They've also been tapped to perform some of Cole Porter's classics in MGM's upcoming biopic musical Just One of These Things. Costello will perform "Let's Misbehave," while Krall will lend her pipes to "I Get a Kick Out of You" and the title tune.
