Are there any other U2 fans around here? They're my favorite band of all time and I was wondering if I was the only junkie left around anymore. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/wink.gif

In the early days of U2 I liked them. When they made Joshua Tree I got fed up. But I have since come around and truly think they are like the Beetles of the '80s and '90s. I've seen their last two tours and really had a great time. I own every album they've made along with the Salome bootlegs and some Passengers stuff.

I was a huge fan of their 80's stuff, and still am. But when Brian Eno stepped in to produce, I found it hard to follow their direction. Everyone has to progress though

I am a big fan of U2's early stuff...Boy, War, October, Under a Blood Red Sky . Joshua Tree was the last one I liked of theirs. I found they became very "commercial" and was disappointed with their later work (IMO)
