I hear the MGM Grand's Studio 54 in Las Vegas does 80's music every Wednesday night. Has anyone ever been? I'll be going in August and will have to check it out!

Well, at 110 mph, the nose lifts towards the sky...must be the fault of that mighty rear wing (I haven´t attached it - VW thought it was a la mode back in 86 when they had built my little Scirocco...). <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

1988, I was in Houston on a exchange for 3 weeks. That was the only time my mouth kept quite shut, as I wasn´t able to detect that accent and didn´t want to reply something embarrassing... <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Of course the folks in that vocational school made their fun of me, speaking in their broadest accent until I had enough and started to curse them in my native language. That does it...from that moment on, we all were trying for some understandable english... <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Is the car that you dont want to take us to Vegas in the one in the picture you posted? Can it still be running??? I figure if the pict was from 1986 that makes the car pretty darn old! Hahahaha! Just being silly and wondering if you still have the car!

Well..this wasn´t my car, it just happened to be parked before that youth hostel. It was an old Ford from the 60s, and the way it looked back then, it´s a million of Coke cans today... <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Oh thats cool wavemaster. I was just curious since you mentioned a car in one of the other posts. I know a few people who still have their high school cars and it's kinda neat. I'd be real attached if I had a car for thatlong! I've had mine almost 10 years now and love it and dont want to trade it in! <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> I guess I will have to part with it someday! <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Unfortunately, my cars seems to be doomed from the moment on I own them... <img src="confused.gif" border="0"> ...never lasted more than a year, but most of them were also old clunkers for little money.

And sometimes I´m actively helping on that process...crashed two cars so far, a Porsche (yes!) and a Audi.

I hope that my current set of wheels will last a little bit longer, as I really like it and I can´t afford a new one...
