I have saw those 3 and they were all great! I actually got to meet Siouxsie at a record signing here at a local Tower Records and got an autographed copy of her 1995 album "The Rapture".
I have accomplished to see one of the ultimate concerts for me so far and that was David Bowie. It was just kinda a let down because the crowd there was kinda rough because Nine Inch Nails opened for him. They all wanted to do the mosh pit thing.

Wow! That must have been amazing! :) I think I know which Tower records you're referring to. I've been there and met Henry Rollins. I also found a Japanese edition of Madonna's Sex Book, SCORE!!! :)

It's the only Tower Records in town on the drag at the UT campus.

That's it. I knew it was near a campus. Thanks Stacy. :)
I've seen most of the bands I want to see. But, there are a few that I haven't saw yet. I would love to see Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Heart, Billy Joel, etc. And I could go for seeing Judas Priest (yes, with Rob Halford), Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Scorpions, AC/DC, Dio, and Alice Cooper.

And my real fantasy one (cringes at the thought of what people will think) = ABBA
outofplacechild 12-16-01, 02:48 PM I just want to see *A* concert. I've never been to one in my entire life (That Chieftains performance doesn't count...it was more a recital than a concert). I want to go to a place where the air is thick with sweat and smoke...by the ocean...by a river...Jersey on a hot night...New York...even Long Island. Just so long as I can see a genuine concert before I die (and that could happen within a decade. Sorry, evil self talking)
Sincerely,
John "outofplacechild" Kilduff

I'd be right there with ya Recker! That would so rock!
Kayenne 12-17-01, 07:15 AM Unfortunately it's too late to catch 2 groups I missed out on in the 80s: Pink Floyd and Queen :(
Otherwise I can't believe I still haven't seen U2 and Madonna (what am I - a millionaire??) and those two are definitely on my list. Otherwise I don't think I have any I *MUST* see......
Never tire of Nick Cave shows.
Missed 3/4 of a Fishbone show in the late 80s. Stayed in the pub too long. I would like to see them again - they rocked.
Never got to see Bauhaus either. Would like to.
Think I've seen pretty much everybody else that I want to see.
ImSoooSure 12-18-01, 05:24 AM Oh I forgot about Madonna and also Bon Jovi. Aerosmith is coming to my town in January. I'll have to try to get tickets to that. :)
I'd like to see:
Duran Duran, Def Leppard, U2 (but only if they play stuff from The Unforgettable Fire and earlier), Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Yes.
Would have loved to see Queen.
And Recker, I'll go to an ABBA concert with you anytime!

Dancingdoll1986 12-21-01, 12:34 PM This is going to sound really funny to most of you, but the ONE I'd LOVE to see is
Barry Mannilow.
He usually picks a woman out of the audience to go up with him and sing "Can't Smile Without You"...and I want to be the one he picks!! I LOVE BARRY!!!! :D

I would have loved to see these guys back in the day...

These guys actually started in the late 60's but are still going strong. BLACK OAK ARKANSAS. Saw them recently here in New Orleans with FOGHAT. Foghat could not hold a candle to BOA. Three of the original band members still playin'. Jim Dandy, Rickie Lee Reynolds and Pat D. (can't spell his last name) Good, strong, ass-kickin' rock-n-roll. And Jim Dandy's stories are as good as ever. Don't miss em.
Christine 1-16-02, 03:17 PM I would love to see Guns 'N Roses (original lineup) and Skid Row (with Sebastian as lead singer). But sadly, don't think either of those are going to happen. I'd love to see Bon Jovi again. Also would want to see Poison and Sebastian Bach. :D
Ted Nugent 1-16-02, 03:46 PM I have a huge list. :D
Judas Priest (with Rob Halford)

Rollin' stones
Danzig

The Doors (with Morrison)
Jimi Hendrix (Shame he's dead )
Bob Seagar
Bad company
Jefferson Airplane
Led Zeppelin
KISS (again :D)
Ted Nugent (again :D)
