Tickets for U2 go on sale this saturday for thier show on the 28th in st louis. I was going to get some, but they are TOO pricey for this guy! Ticket prices for the concert at Savvis Center (a 20,000 seat arena) are as follows, $130, $85, and $45. The 45 are supposed to be the floor, general admission seating. WHO WOULD PAY $130 AND NOT BE ON THE FLOOR, NEXT TO THE STAGE?

They were just here Monday night, but I didn't get to go. They sold out where they played here.

I did go to the show in Austin Monday Night. (No Stacy, I didn't win the ticket either!) I paid 89 for my ticket, 8th row from the floor, center stage. Man, that show just totally rocked!! No Doubt opened for U2 and just blew me away. The show started right at 7:30..some people missed part of No Doubt due to long lines to get into the Erwin Center.(Security Checks) Anyway, U2 came on about maybe 30 minutes after No Doubt played. They were soooo awesome!! Opened with Elevation, then Beautiful Day, and some other songs. They played New Years Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and I will follow. I think my money was well spent, considering this in probably the only time I'll see U2 since they never play Austin. I had a great seat, great view, and wasn't far from the stage. That show rocked!!!!!

LOL...yeah, well, you know me so well. But no, I got a visa band at the HEB in Bastrop and waited in line for 20 minutes for my ticket. I'd say I got pretty good seats for buying in Bastrop. Once in a lifetime opportunity!!! I missed U2 last time they came and I'm usually too lazy to drive to San Antonio, after all, the Alamodome is much bigger than the Erwin Center, so who knows what kind of crappy seats your money will buy!

It's just nice to finally see a band come here for once, instead of San Antonio. Seems like since the Alamodome and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre has been built, we don't get much going on around here anymore. :(
I would love to see U2 but I would not pay $130 that is just outrageous!
I wish I had seen them in the 80s. Their stuff on the past few albums has been okay but not as good as the first few :)
