Next weekend is our balloon fest...here is a link where you can see a preview...doesn't do the fest justice IMO...there is so much more! I am going to be working one of the gates for a couple of hours each day.

Cool, Jana. I'm still having great thoughts of my hometowns's balloon fest. :) Last weekend, there was a balloon fest in Binghamton, but my Mom and I didn't go. We were joking how we were going to go instead of going to Bston.

We have Harborfest in a little town called Harborcreek that has balloons at it. I always like seeing the balloons fly overhead. I live near Harborcreek so I don't even have to be at the event to see it :)

There is also a huge craft fair, car shows, the kids area has tons of activities including those large inflatable slides...it's all free. Food galore (some can be costly but some are from local organizations and those are the ones I like to hit). The balloon glow is pretty if it happens..sometimes they arn't able to..just depends on the weather.


Stay tuned for next years Balloon fest........if I have my way (and things are changing for the better in that direction ;) ) We are going to have some TOP entertainment...a band from the 80's!
