Our local 80's station here (107.7 The End) is sponsoring Endfest here on Sept. 22. Some of the bands I know of that will be playing are these:
A Flock Of Seagulls
The Fixx
The Outfield
...and some others
The tickets are only $10.77! That is a real good price. The concert will be from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. that day.

They have now added Gene Loves Jezebel and Warsaw to the list of performers. I got my ticket today for free so I can't wait for Saturday now.
Have a great time Stacy, and don't forget to tell us about the shows. :)

Well, I just got back from Endfest tonight and here's my review:
First band: Warsaw (They are a Joy Division Tribute Band) I really enjoyed them. The lead singer had all of Ian Curtis's moves down pat. Enjoyed hearing Joy Division songs live.
Second band: A Flock Of Seagulls
Rather dissapointing. The only original member left was Mike Score (the lead singer). No, he didn't have the famous hairdo. He has long hair now and had it in a ponytail. They did some new songs, plus the classics "I Ran", "Space Age Love Song", and "Wishing". The mixing of the music didn't sound real good. It was hard to hear individual instruments.
Third band: The Fixx
This was my fave band of all today. Lots of energy onstage. All of the members of the band seemed to care about their fans. Interacting with the audience by shaking hands. The drummer even signed a drumstick and gave it to this one man that had asked for it. They performed all of their classics. Their stage performance was better mixed than the Seagulls.
Fourth Band: The Outfield
I was never much into this band, but they seemed to perform well and with energy. They sung the hits also, plus some other songs.
Gene Loves Jezebel was supposed to go on right after Warsaw, but could not make it. They had gotten stuck at an airport somewhere and could not make it in time.
Thanks for that review Stacy. Well, at least you had a good time during The Fixx performance. It wasn't a total loss.
