What a weekend of concerts!
I went to both of Pat Benatar shows and had a blast.
Friday night, I went to the concert at the House Of Blues in Orlando's Downtown Disney. The venue was so packed with wall to wall people, I felt like a sardine in a can, you could hardly move in the place.
Pat and Neil Giraldo performed for 2 hours and 10 minutes, and really got the crowd rockin' from the start. Even Lance Bass of N'Sync was in the front row balcony seats.
Pat Benatar still sings with great conviction, and the new songs are rockers that imediately remind you of the rock songs of the 80's with a new twist.

Neil's guitar riffs really had the audience hoopin' and hollerin' at one point in the show during "True Love" when he left the stage while still playing, and walked through the audience, but the crowd was so large that he went back on stage after about 2 minutes, and they finished the song, before breaking into "Hell Is For Children" which sounded fantastic.
The audience was rockin' to the music so much that Pat just let them sing at one point without any music being played by the band, they just stopped playing for awhile and the crowd took over. It sounded very cool!

Here is the set list that was played friday night.

Treat Me Right
I Need A Lover
We Live For Love
Girl (new rocker)
We Belong
I Won't (new rocker)
Shadows Of The Night
Love Is Battlefield (acoustic version)
True Love
Hell Is For Children
Heartbreaker
Please Don't Leave Me (new ballad)
Promises In The Dark
Hit Me With Your Best Shot
All Fired Up

I'll start a new post for last night's concert at the Florida State Fair.
