Maybe it's just me, but i can't find much of ANYTHING about Lisa Lisa on the 'net. Ok, so some sites might have a PAGE or something...but c'mon.

I joined a Yahoo! group dedicated to her a while back. There's someone on there that says he/she knows Lisa. So I emailed the person telling them that i'm usually weary of people on the 'net who CLAIM to be one thing or another. I told them that I DJ at a radio station and would be interested in doing an interview with her. I asked them to get word to her or at least send me Lisa's manager info, which they did. So now all i have to do is call this person, hope they REALLY are Lisa's manager and HOPEFULLY set something up.

I'll keep you guys up to date with what happens.

Recently, I heard Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's Head To Toe.

A New Orleans radio station--92.3 The Point (http://www.WCKW.com), an all-'80s station--played that song one night.

Occasionally, I could hear New Orleans' 92.3 The Point...from Jackson, Mississippi.

Never heard 'Head to Toe' Sal? Good grief man! LOL. I know it was out in '87 and definitely not obscure by any measure... :D

I first heard Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's Head To Toe in spring '87...from JMI 100 (i.e.: WJMI-FM 99.7 [Jackson, Mississippi], 1980s [now, WJMI goes by the moniker of 99 Jams).

It had been a while--a looooong while, probably--from the time I first heard Head To Toe to the time I heard that same song on New Orleans' 92.3 The Point (http://www.WCKW.com).
