Well this area has been pretty dead for a while so I thought I would try to stir up some conversation...what are the most underated AOR bands that you can think of?
My vote is for the band Magnum (my favourite band)They are (were) from the UK and pretty much unknown here in the US.

I don't know if this band qualifies as AOR or not. But,, they are a pretty much forgotten band. I am talking about another Canadian trio called Triumph. They were popular for a while and then disappeared. They made some great albums like Allied Forces and Never Surrender. I saw them in concert once, the lasers were unbelievable. They had it setup so that everytime the drummer hit a drum a laser would shoot out into the audience. Awesome!! Now that I am thinking about them, I can't even think of any of their songs. And one of them is one of my all-time favorites!! I thought of it...! Magic Power! What a song!!
If you never heard Triumph, they were in the same vein as Journey and Foreigner, just a little heavier. With a little Rush thrown in. If you ever come across ANY of their albums, buy it! I guarantee that you will NOT regret it!!!

Cool, I haven't heard a Triumph song on the radio in years. And tonight, I tune in Dee Snider playing hair bands from the 80's. He played "Lay it on the Line" by Triumph. Very cool! He also played "Heaven and Hell" by Black Sabbath (with Dio singing) and "Die With Your Boots On" by Iron Maiden. Dee Snyder rules!!!
