I just picked up Queensryche's Greatest Hits which came out today. I've always liked them but I was never a serious fan. A girl at work turned me on to them and I got to admit they are one rocking band (with possibly the best logo in the business). There are 2 new tracks on there. Anyone else pick it up?

I have liked Queensryche ever since they first came out. Before The Warning came out, they had an EP that was just great! There are so many 80's artist's making new stuff or putting out compilation cd's, this is a great time!! I will check this one out asap.

DONLAV, run out and pick up a copy of OPERATION MINDCRIME. It is without a doubt, THE best concept album of all time. The entire thing rocks, start to finish, the vocals are Geoff Tate's best, IMO. The story is great, and it is a little over an hour long. You will NOT be disappointed!

Jasper, my friend who got me to listen to Queensryche is giving me her entire 'Ryche CD catalog to listen to. She likes Operation Midcrime too. I can't wait to give them all a listen. Any specific songs not on the Greatest Hits disc that I should look for?

I am not sure of the tracks on the GH cd, but the entire MINDCRIME cd is superb. My personal favorite WR song "I Dont Believe In Love" is from that cd. As well as, "The Needle Lies". The entire thing is great. Read the liner notes and lyrics, so you can see what the story is about, and then listen to it, front to back. GREAT ****ING CD! You will NOT be disappointed.

For those who use Napster...there is a fantastic alternate version of "I Don't Believe In Love" that can be found. It is cool to hear the song structured differently.
