Lo all.
Was just wondering if anyone had any new info about Slash's Snakepit (I know they're not really an 80's band, but they're Guns n' Roses influenced). I heard they were releasing a new album but being from Scotland I don't hear much about them, as they're not really known around here. If anyone knew when it was being released (maybe it has been in the USA?) then I'd be grateful. Also, I heard something about Brian May and Axl Rose doing some recording together. I don't care for Axl that much but Brian May is excellent so any info would be nice.

Oh yeah, I know this is exactly what you suggested I put up Ham so don't get onto me. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

Cya.

They have a GN'R newsgroup which I'm in & I love it. You can find new info here from time to time.

What I've read is that Slash's new album is supposed to be out in November because he just switched record companies. Duff is supposed to be working on another side project & his wife, model Susan Holmes, is expecting their 2nd child.

Next month, Mr. Rose may have to come out of hiding to testify against his female stalker, Karen McNeil, for trying to break into his home. He's had restraing orders out against her since 1996 but this doesn't seem to have deterred her any. His lawyer said that it was undetermined yet as to if Axl would have to testify.

Matt Sorum is back with The Cult, Dizzy Reed is still part of what's left of GN'R, & Gilby Clark has another album out.

Izzy Stradlin' is living in Indiana & Duff & Slash recently did some overseas touring with him

Steven Adler is MIA. He's had numerous drug problems, some drug-induced strokes, problems with the police, as well as some domestic violence problems.

That's all I've read or heard so far. Hope this helps.

Love to all!
