A local firefighter/rescuer who works with my brother in law went to a call a couple of nights ago--a very young respiratory patient was have a difficult time breathing. By the time Mary got there, within five minutes, the little one was close to completely breathless and by the time she ran to her, she had passed out. Mary worked like a hurricane to help the little one, and very shortly was breathing again. They were loading the little one on the stretcher when the little girl finally spoke--the first thing she said, looking straight at Mary, was "I Love You!"

I couldn't do this for a living, but I admire people who do!
