Anyone had a chance to listen to the new Scorpions CD with the Berliner Philharmoniker? Awesome CD! Much better than Metallica.

Der Scorpion musik am die CD ist grosse schwer metal!
I knew about this CD before it hit the U.S. market, so when the store I go to got the import, I picked it right up. My only complaint is that Klaus doesn't sing everything, but at least the quality is still there. The solos are note perfect, and in most cases, improved with age. I wish they had put more songs on it, but this was so much more of an undertaking, a labor of love than the Metallica thing. Unfortunatly, it will never get the same amount of airplay, but at least one station by my house is broadcasting it to the NYC listening area.

Hopefully, some web sites will do reviews, and help spread the word.

It is starting to get some airplay here in St. Louis. The two classic rock stations have been playing Hurricane 2000 and it has been running about 3:1 in favor of the songs.
