I'm really bored today. The other day we were outside playing in the sunshine, the next we were having tornados, and right now..it's raining ICE! It's cold and bleeech. Suppose it's just early spring cabin fever. I hate this inbetween weather. Can't wait until the summer.....

I've played on the computer, I've did the housework, I've did things with the kids. No one's on the IM's..my sister in laws arn't home.... going nuts. :)

Well I'm much in the same boat as you Jana, A snowstorm, basically ruined my weekend plans or going away, so I stayed in town, cleaned up some work in my office, watched tv and movies, and played on the computer. My excitement was going to Walmart

This is the winter that will never end, just as the snow was starting to melt , we get a storm

I have been packing up some of my books (trust me..it's like a warehouse in here since I sell on you-know-where LOL!) to take back out into the garage. I keep them inside during the winter months to protect from moisture, etc...


We might order in some pizza, all get into our jammies early, watch SHREK for the 100th time :)

Hope your day gets better Cal. (I had to laugh about your excitement of the day was going to walmart...I've been in that same situation before :) )

This weekend I've been on the computer doing my taxes (eFile), and I'm working on a project for one of my online classes. Today I'm doing my laundry and I'm going to bring some cans and bottles back to the store. I'm also watching "Gigi" which is on the local PBS station.

My feet gave out on me again so I've had to take most of the week off from work...I'm getting into political arguments...I have a lousy sense of humor...Nothing seems to go my way.

What else is new?

LOL Jana!! You just KNOW that I am in the same boat as you when it comes to the weather! I dropped my husband off at work this morning so that I could walk the mall... I have been desperatly needing to do some walking the past few days to try to boost this baby into wanting to deliver but the weather has been so cold, windy, rainy :(

So I walked a little bit at the mall.. bought a few things ;) but exhausted myself within 2 hours... I'm just getting too big to do so much walking.. no more contractions yet today, though :( Then.. on my way home, I ran into some bad traffic and when I finally got to my exit (took me 45 minutes to drive 8 miles), I stopped at my gas station to fill up and the guy there told me that there was a huge accident on the other side of my exit that they have been trying to clean up for the past 2 hours... a wreck with fatalities.. two helicopters were there.. it must have happened RIGHT after I left to take Joe to work.. because I got off on that side of the exit! Damn.. I feel like I got lucky!

As for the rest of the day.. you'll see my online most of it :lol:

You were very lucky..someone was watching out for you today. :) Yes..I know that you are getting some nasty weather...ours isn't as bad so now I kind of feel funny about complaining about it here.

As for contractions...let's all do some jumping jacks LOL! Naaa, j/k Tina...she'll get here when she wants to and is darn good and ready. That's a woman for ya! :)

Ok .............found something to do. We went to dinner at APPLEBEE'S tonight YUMMMMMMY!!!!

I have been sick today. I think it was the Chinese Food I ate for lunch yesterday. I did manage to get out to JCPenney for a sale and got me two new shirts once I felt a bit better. My stepdad and mom also came over for a visit today as well.

I hope everyone's week goes great...It's supposed to be back up into the 70's by Thurs. I hope so..I have to many things going on this week for it be cruddy weather.

My day went quite well. :) I rented The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and took it to my parents' place to watch. They were a little surprised by my choice in movies, but settled in to watch it with me anyway. They're quite conservative folks, and not much geared toward fantasy-type movies. It was an enjoyable evening nonetheless with my mom doing her best to keep up with the storyline, knowing nothing about J. R. R. Tolkien's works.

My dad said the most hilarious thing in between napping throughout the movie. In the scene where Gandalf rides to Isengard to inform Saruman of the existence of the One Ring, and Saruman comes down the steps to meet him, Dad took one look at him and said, "Hrm, it's Bin Laden". Shit, that cracked us all up so bad, we laughed about it during every scene with Saruman thereafter. In fact, it still makes me giggle. :lol:

Thats funny Rhel!! I tried to get my parents interested in watching it over Christmas... like your parents, thery weren't really impressed.. couldn't follow the storyline.. they got bored with it quick...

We went to Cracker Barrell tonight for dinner... It's "comfort food".. ;) When it's cold out, I like to go there because they always have the fireplace going and I always get something like roast beef and mashed potatoes and gravy.. corn muffins... yummm!

I hope you are right about the weather shaping up by Thursday!

I'm tired of this cold and windy spell that we have been having! It's spitting icy rain right now :mad:

We bought a camcorder yesterday - LOL! (there goes that tax refund... :o ) Now we will be able to embarrass our baby-to-be for the rest of his or her life :D Can't wait!!

We're supposed to get 6-10" of snow today - gaaah! I like winter, & I love snow, but I am getting frickin' tired of this! :mad:

Ah well. It is New England. We are on the hook until the end of April, and then it should be OK... hopefully. ... gaaah :D

LOL Rhel, my mother loves Lord of the Rings, she got me into the books when I was a kid. I think she's seen Fellowship as many times as I have. (6 or 7) She has a big thing for Aragorn, hehee.

My weekend was great the weather was so nice Saturday so we did some yard work it took us 4 hours to just do one part of it. I thought I was going to pass out. Then we went out again on Sunday and mowed for another 3 hours and then it started to rain :hammer: I hate rain :(
So we went to the mall. :D
I really don't want warm weather to come that will just mean more yard work :lol:

Wasn't bored today...

Packed up more boxes of books. Cleaned house. It seems like I can do alot more (or rather get into the mood to do more) when the sun is shining.

Had the end of the season Pee Wee basketball banquet tonight at the school. The coach handed out the trophies, he had a little personal speech about each player...that was a great touch. He's a good coach.

I got a surprise from the organization...I was treasurer and on concessions committee so in appreciation..they got me a $15.00 gift card to .........APPLEBEES! LOL! I'm ready to go back..that's for sure... :)

Jana.. my husband and I went to Applebees for lunch today LOL I thought of you ;)

Other than that.. did our grocery shopping... Joe rented a video game to play tonight :rolleyes: that's why I'm here :thumb:
