Next.........actual cutting of the hair!!

Okay, I can't remember which one this is.......:)

Halfway to short short hair!!!!!

Getting the halfway hair combed out...........this was a long process and I was getting tired.

Here is the mess of hair on the floor.......in the pic, it looks kinda silly.

It was a bit of a shock at first sight....but I knew I'd be loving it!!!!

And here is the AFTER!!!!!!! It's not as birdlike on top anymore. I think with the way that I use my styling cream, it looks spikier. (If that is a word.) I love it!!

OMG!:yikes: Oh the humanity.....I mean locks!:D

It'll take some getting used to, but I want to see the next pic that shows the new short hair when it's dry. At least you'll feel cooler on those hot summer days. :)

It DID take a lot to coax me into the 'do. I poured through countless magazines, Sophia let me take home hair books to look through, but in the end, I had SO much perm left, that she had to cut it all the way down to where the perm ended. I really didn't get a choice.

But, I LOVE IT!!!

It looks a lot better right now, having started to grow out a bit. I am actually getting reddish "hightlights", (as TC has suggested), but I am waiting until my next cut. (I personally wanted to go blonde, but no one will let me....they say I'd look washed out.)

Thanks for the compliments.....I was afraid that my "fluffiness" was gone!! (Main reason I didn't want to cut my hair.)

I know it.. I don't think I could ever do it either.. My hair is getting so long that I have no idea what to do with it anymore.
I keep thinking about cutting it shorter (it's down to the small of my back now) and I almost ALWAYS have it in a ponytail.. what kind of style is that?! :confused:

It's starting to really grow out now.....it's funny, I can really tell when it's growing now. I go in 2 weeks to get it shaped again, and the coloring. I highly reccommend "going for it" to those who have tossed the idea around. I love being able to get ready in the morning in only a half an hour instead of an hour +!! (I never realized how long I took just doing my hair!!!)
