What is your favorite Iron Maiden album? I know this is a tough one, they're all great!! I'm just full of ideas (some new, some old, some borrowed) and I am throwing them out before I forget. But, I am going to have to give this some thought and some cd's a listen before I can answer my own question. I might have to go with a greatest hits one for obvious reasons. I'll answer later.

My choice would have to be Powerslave. That was the album that really turned me on to Maiden! It's why I bought their arlier releases! I also saw them on tour to support that album. The stage was spectacular, all made up egyptian style. Plus, they had a 7foot Eddie walk out on stage. It was killer!! They also recorded Live After Death on that tour.
Every song an that album was great! the 13 minute "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" blew me away (I thought I would get tired of hearing it after several minutes, not so). My favorites are "Aces High" and "2 Minutes to Midnight". Check it out if you don't alresdy own it!!

Hmmm, well this Was a Very Hard choice to make after Pondering and Listening to Each Album upon end, but I managed it and made my Decision.

Don't get me wrong, the Music and Lyrics we're Great on those Albums, I'm just not fond of Blaze Bailey's Pathetic Attempt at Vocals. :yucky:

I'm with Ther, every Maiden album rocks, except the ones that lacked Bruce's wicked vocals :)

if you include live albums i would say live after death

the first 6 studio albums were great and hard to choose one...i'll go with number of the beast, though sometimes i like killers the best, depending on my mood
