Anyone into Death/Melodic Death ? What are some of your favourites ? Mine:

ACHERON, MORBID ANGEL, NILE, CREMATORY, AXIS OF ADVANCE, IMMOLATION, BENEDICTION, older ENTOMBED....

Of course, my favorite is Death. Unforunately, Chuch Schuldiner has been having some very serious health problems. His last album was only 2 songs away from completion... He'll be back.

The reason I'm always so wacky with Death and Chuck Schuldiner is because I've always felt we had a lot in common. When I was in my mid teens, I thought up a band named, Death. I started writing lyrics and had albums planned. Then, one day, I saw Death's first album, "Scream Bloody Gore" on a shelf. I thought, "Wow! The logo even looks like mine!". So I bought it. From the first sound I heard, I knew we thought alike. Everything was exactly the way I would have had it. Even as time went on and new albums came out, my style changed with his. In every way...

my husband has been in a death metal band for almost 10 years.. they have regrouped a couple of times.. their name is "WithinTheFlesh" I for one am not too into it any more.. and its probably because I have to listen to his shit all of the time he he heh
They have a new album coming out sometime this winter.. I'll let you guys know when it comes out. Their influences are Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Hate Eternal, Slayer, ummm.. I can't rememner any more of them...

You'd be surprised. But, if you ever wanted to get a good idea of what I write like, it's really close to "Death". I'll have to post some lyrics up one day - Death's, that is. All mine burned in a fire. BUT, I haven't lost the talent... My writing was usually about the painful truth and it all made sense. The screaming was just an anger-releasing way of telling a story...

Cannibal Corpse, Nocturnus, Disincarnate, and Resurrection are my favorites!
