I got 9 out of 10, and I wasn't even sure who three or four were! LOL I missed: Depeche Mode!! LOL Much to wave's horror!

abcmcd
11-08-01, 05:01 PM
That was fun TC!
I got 100%, even though two were total guesses. (That's about the same way I faked my way thru high school with lucky guesses.)

TJ
11-08-01, 06:18 PM
I only got 7. :(

And one more thing, who the hell is Wide Boy Awake?

djdaffy1227
11-08-01, 06:23 PM
I've played that before! My questioned wasn't answered either. I got 7 out of 10. I coulda swore that was Sinead O'Connor!

TJ
11-08-01, 06:46 PM
They did do "Chicken Outlaw" I don't remember it.

Sinead O'Connor, yuck! Sheene Easton was hot, and I mean was. She has not aged very well. :(

That one was unfair. I got it wrong too. Technically, he was John Cougar Mellencamp through most of the 80's. He only used John Cougar on the "American Fool" album and one or two albums before that. I got 9 out of 10 again. They do update this game daily.

TJ
11-11-01, 10:17 PM
I got 10 on the one today. :D I actually knew these. One of them I just found out about last time I played though. ;)

I didn't get to see the John Cougar one. :(

Iluvthe80s
11-11-01, 10:22 PM
I got them all right today! :)

ValJ
11-13-01, 01:10 AM
I scored 9 out of ten again today. Who is Basia??? I guessed on two others, and "Strawberry Switchblade" was just a process of elimination.

BlueMolly2001
11-13-01, 01:27 AM
Basia is a Polish singer who had a few hits in the late 80s/early 90s. Her music is very jazzy and I've been a fan of hers for a while. You might have heard of the songs, "New Day For You" and "Crusin' For Brusin'". She's still around, but she hasn't had any hits.

Iluvthe80s
11-13-01, 01:35 AM
Today I got 9 out of 10. I didn't know who Basia was.

8 out of 10 this time! :)

Iluvthe80s

I don't know how I did it today, but I got all of them correct. I guess, process of elimination works.

ValJ
11-13-01, 11:45 PM
I got all of them right today. I still say some of these bands are popular somewhere else. Who on earth is Belodius Some? Or whatever-the-hell his name is.

Did you mean Belouis Some? They had this song called "Some People". It is on one of these CD compliations I have called "Living In Oblivion: The 80's Greatest Hits Vol. 4". Some of those bands I haven't heard of either. I just have to guess.

wavemaster

Belouis Some had a few hits in the 80s, like 'Imagination' and 'Round, Round'.

The latter was featured in the movie 'Pretty In Pink', see also Pretty In Pink Music (http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/8762/pink/music.html).

Above of this, I didnīt found any further info...but 'Imagination' was a fairly good track. ;)

Yes, it was Tony Thompson. He played with The Powerstation and he also played with David Bowie on the Serious Moonlight Tour in 1983.

Burning Sensations did "Belly of the whale" a MTV hit (also available on the Living in Oblivion series) and "Pablo Picasso" on the Repo-man soundtrack!

Hooray! 100% JoBoxers was a complete guess!
