I'm a happy punk. :D :dance::D

Finally today we got our scripts in for my Theatre class's play. The play is "The Girl Who Was Asked to Turn Blue". The description made it sound sooooo rad, but it really sucks.

People started complaining because the play is dorky and kinda lame. They didn't want to do it because they'd have to be in all blue and play these stupid roles. And they didn't want to have to go to school again after playing the parts. They thought that they were going to be pointed at and all that jazz.

I don't like the play, but I'm not complaining much. One of my freshman friends couldn't take it anymore. She said something to the affect "Why can't you all be more like Carlea???" She stated on and on about how I dress and how I act...and how I don't care what people think of me (most of the time Teddie lol). She said they should be more like me. :D

I got all excited. "YEAH!" Put my fists in the air, like Billy Idol (usual thing for me). Then I bowed down to her. :lol: :D I'm glad that FINALLY someone got my statement of individuality. And it was a FRESHMAN.

whooo hooo :dance:

Actually the freshman are so stupid and annoying. I see why Dan avoided me last year. :lol:

We decided on the play...but we didn't know it sucked. :( :p

Maybe, once performance time rolls around it won't suck quite so bad!!! I had to do "The Frog Prince" when I was a senior in high school and was very pissed at the time. After it was over, I realized that it wasn't half bad...it's all what you make of it. Best of luck!

Well the theme of the play is good. It was about Peer Pressure...but how peer pressure was solved is bad. It has two different endings. But in both of them the girl turns blue. In one ending she gets another boy to turn blue too "so they're not lonely". I thought the ending needed to be something like they run off together and created their own world where people are different.

that's terrific Shortie! I'm proud of you for being an individual and being who you want to be and dressing how you want to dress.
It looks like you are being acknowledged by the people around you and that's good! it's the way it should be :thumb:
