I haven't been on the net for about a week so I haven't had a chance to verify all the news that is in my email. But this one is very interesting and came from a usually reliable source.
First, the official word from Motley Crue, their management and their label is that they are on hiatus. The band members are involved with various side or solo projects. Now for the juicy stuff. The band is secretly working on a new cd for release in early 2002! Why the secrecy? Because the recording involves the ORIGINAL members! That's right, Tommy Lee is back! Please remember this is a rumor that was purposely leaked by someone close to the band who wishes to remain anonymous. Until that person or someone else comes forward it will be as impossible to verify the validity of this rumor as it has the DLR/VH reunion rumors. Time will tell.
