Rush News: Geddy Lee confirmed in a recent interview that they ARE in a studio writing new material for their next album. Considering what all has happened to Neil Peart, they insisted on a "no stress, no pressure" recording situation. This means that there is no time constraints on them. The new album will be ready when its ready. This is awesome news for Rush fans, Pagan.
Van Halen News: Michael Anthony did an interview at the recent NAMM convention in California. He would not confirm who the new singer is....still. But, he did say they ARE recording a new album. And it is a return to the "early" Van Halen sound (all they give us are hints). He also said that they WILL tour to support the new album when it comes out. In fact, he says they are anxious to get back on the road!
Aerosmith's new album is tentatively set to be released on March 14.
Cyndi Lauper's biggest album, She's So Unusual, is being remastered. It will feature 3 new studio tracks. It also features musical backing and songwriting by The Hooters.
If you are having trouble finding a certain cd because its out of print I found a website that can help you. Go to www.deleted-but-not-forgotten.com. (http://www.deleted-but-not-forgotten.com.) It is all import stuff but usually they come with a bonus track or two. But, it is a little pricy. Still, I found quite a few albums I haven't heard about in years and several I have never heard of by bands that I love. Check it out.
