Not long ago, I heard Max Headroom's "Paranoimia"...for the first time since the '80s. (Fortunately, I've recorded that song, so I can hear it whenever I want to.) :)

You need to give credit to the band who put it together ;) It was The Art of Noise featuring Max Headroom.

PS: It'a called "Paranoimia"

Art of noise a great band that was ahead of there time when it came to there experimental sound.. they did a great job on Peter Gunn theme that same year i think.. (It was before Paranormia)
and then a few years later hit it big with Tom Jones on prince's tune "Kiss".

In fact i heard the Tom Jones version of Kiss today when coming home.. I haven't heard that tune in ages.. gotta dig the cassette of that out of my tape box in my closet.
(remember what cassettes were.. they replaced the LP and 8 Tracks Tapes)...

The Art of Noise actually drafted in Lol Creme for their last album, as, of course, Godley and Creme had directed both "Two Tribes" and "Power of Love" videos (Frankie Goes to Hollywood).

My favourite Art of Noise song still remains "Close (to the Edit)" for which they did 2 videos (and 2 mixes)

Yeah, I know Art of Noise helped Max with that song. I just didn't mention that band.

And I'll go back and correct the title.

I heard "Peter Gunn Theme" not too long ago.

And very recently (in fact, I heard it from Absolutely '80s), I even heard Tom Jones' cover of "Kiss."
