Everyone is confirming it except the only people who truly can; Van Halen's new cd features David Lee Roth on vocals!!!
KISS is going to end their farewell tour at Madison Square Gardin around Spring 2001!
Tommy Lee is playing on Ozzy's next album and would consider touring with him if the money was right!
That's all I can remember for now.
Oh Yea, Geddy Lee (from Rush) has a new cd out. The first single sounds A little like Rush and is very good, IMO!
I've heard the David Lee Roth rumors too. I hope Dave won't screw it up this time. I love Van Halen and I would love to see a comeback.

Wow, that's one we've been hearing for a LONG time! DLR in VH again. And hey, that one rumor sounds funny about Tommy Lee in Ozzy. Isn't the new drummer of Motley Crue an ex Ozzy drummer? hehe Wierd...

I actually heard on a radio station a couple months ago that Van Halen was told by their record company to wither get David Lee Roth back or else they would be dropped from the label. Who was this Gary Cherone guy for the third incarnation anyway? I personally love the songs with Sammy Hagar.
Gary Cherone was from "Extreme", another 80's/early 90's band..they were kinda popular, at least I thought so..they had a big hit that made MTV all the time back then.. I think it was "Hey Kid Ego"... was that the popular song? Well, that was the first album... but the 2nd album made it bigger, and they played the heck out of the ballad, "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted". Gary was a pretty good singer in my opinion, but not Van Halen worthy... I don't think I listened to VH's album with him more than twice... I just can't imagine Dave being back in the band... there are so many personality clashes in that band with him in it... they grew up and he didn't... and that's why Sammy fit in so well, he acted like an adult but was still the "Red Rocker", you know? Don't get me wrong..I loved the David Lee Roth days as well...but I don't have a good feeling about him being back in the band..his last attempt with them was pretty pathetic, the two songs he did with them really sucked..and his voice was needing alot of help.
It would be interesting, though... I would be willing to give him another chance just because I am curious.. Later guys!!

Your right, Tina. Extreme was very popular in the late 80s and early 90s. Those songs you mentioned were their hits. "More Than Words" was always on the radio - I didn't watch much MTV back then.. Anyways, David Lee Roth needs his own band but it's got to be just LIKE the old Van Halen. That's what he needs. I don't know how his band is now, but it can't be very good. I've never heard one of his songs...
