Duran Duran's video for "Girls On Film" (the extended video - there was a cleaner one cut for broadcast TV) was the first video by a popular group to feature full nudity - and apparently showed the nakey woman getting jiggy with a hairdryer.

Ummm....EEEEWWWW! :lol: And yet, thank you, 80-89, for that bit of info. ;)

The guys in Flock Of Seagulls actually had that hair...their lead singer was a hairdresser before becoming a member of the band, and he did those wacky styles (like in the 'I Ran' vid).

And what a hair raising video it was....:lol:

David Bowie's "China Girl" in the uncut version featured David Bowie in the nude with the China girl at the end of the video. All you see is David Bowie's tushie while he is rolling around on the beach with the girl.

In the video for "Eyes Without A Face" the lights that they were using (or the sparks or something, I've only seen the vid once) melted Billy Idol's contacts.

In Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" video, you can catch a quick glimpse of her breasts as she dances around in her bustier. When she tosses her head back and raises her arms above her head, her breasts pop our of her bustier for a split second before fading to the next shot. :naughty:

Danny Aiello played Madonna's Papa in the 'Papa Don't Preach' video...he was going to turn the role down, but his daughter begged him to do it. :)

There are two different versions of Talk Talk's song, "Dum Dum Girl". Both are shot in the same location, but one is the band goofing around (which is the one they used) and the second one is a more straight forward one of them just singing.

Stevie Nicks insisted her "Stand Back" video be re-shot, because she thought she looked fat in the first version... Maybe that's why she's walking on a treadmill in some of the scenes? Oh well, I still love Stevie:D

i"ve mentioned this before. In the Huey Lewis video, If This is it, one of the girls on the beach has her nipple pop out for a second. It was missed by Pop UP Video who has done the song, But it's there and I think it's 80's Trivia who noticed after I mntioned it before

I did indeed notice, Cal. I looked very carefully, and you can see the woman's breast for a nano-second!!! :lol:

Speaking of "If This Is It"...

Clips of this music video were edited into the "Murray In Videoland" segment of 1987's sketch-comedy movie "Amazon Women On The Moon".

Is that acceptable trivia?

British comics Hugh Laurie and Dawn French appear as a scientist and a nurse in Kate Bush's video, "Experiment VI".

In the video for I Can Dream About You, Dan Hartman does not appear at all. The video is comprised of shots of the fictional group "The Sorels" singing as seen in the movie "Streets of Fire"
