View Full Version : Looking for American Top 40 from the 80s 80s guy 8-21-01, 08:38 PM If you have any old recordings of American Top 40 shows from the eighties, please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Iluvthe80s 8-21-01, 08:45 PM I don't know if your town has an 80's radio station or not, but some of those stations are playing what they call the American Top 40 80's Flashback Show. It is actual shows that were broadcast in the 80's. My local station has a live audio stream. On Sundays at 9 A.M. (Central Time) is when they play it. www.austins80s.com (http://www.austins80s.com) I have a few actual American Top 40 shows on vinyl from 1988 that a friend gave me also. I would be willing to part with one. JS 8-30-01, 09:56 PM Yes, there is an American Top 40: Flashback--an actual rebroadcast of American Top 40 (with Casey Kasem) from a specific week in the '80s. Only a few stations throughout the US carry AT40 Flashback. The nearest AT40 Flashback to Jackson, Mississippi is New Orleans' 92.3 The Point (http://www.WCKW.com). Sadly, no Jackson station carries AT40 Flashback...yet. 80s guy 8-31-01, 08:10 PM Originally posted by JS Steele: <STRONG>Yes, there is an American Top 40: Flashback--an actual rebroadcast of American Top 40 (with Casey Kasem) from a specific week in the '80s. I do listen, but I really want the old shows from the 80s. If anyone has them or knows someone who does, please let me know.
