Thanks for checking on me jen.:) I would have answered sooner, but I was away camping this weekend.

The first shootings Thursday were about an hour or so away from me. But at the moment I'm just a bit freaked out because the latest shooting at the middle school this morning happened probably less than 5 miles away from me. All the schools are on lock-down, including my son's elementary school that's just behind our back yard. I'm in a state of mild paranoia at the moment. It's trash day and everytime they bang a metal trash can on the truck outside I'm afraid it's a gunshot.

What is wrong with people?!?!?!?

I had to go out to the bank and the store this morning and it was weird. Everyone crossing a parking lot was doing a whole lot of looking around and tried to get inside as quick as possible. It's a bit nerve wracking, but we've got to carry on with life.

Glad your okay! I live a little up from where the shooting occured in Baltimore County. I hope that sniper doesn't come up this away. It's pretty scary to go out around here right now, not knowing what can happen. I too have been glued to the TV. So far the 13 year old is in critical but stable condition. He lost a lot of blood.
