Did you know that Vixen was formed by drummer Roxy Petrucci in the early 80s?
They went through a lot of members until they came up with their original line-up in 1987.
They were signed by EMI in 1988, which is the same year their debut album Vixen, was released.

VIxens biggest hit "EDGE OF A BROKEN HEART" was written by none other than Richard Marx.

Vixen was formed in Los Angeles in 1981.
Vixen recorded their third album in 1998 called 'Tangerine'.

Drummer Roxy Petrucci was in a metal band called Madam X before joining Vixen. Her sister, Maxine, was the guitarist for Madam X.
Singer Janet Gardner is now an avid golfer and is studying to be a dental hygenist.

Did you know that Roxy was so bad at drumming that Steve Miller's drummer did all the studio work for their albums.

Actually, "EDGE OF A BROKEN HEART" which was also produced & arranged by Richard Marks, reached #26 on the pop charts after it's debut on 1/17/88 while "CRYIN'" reached #22 on the pop charts after it's debut on 1/28/89.
