Hi all. Hoping someone can help! I have Internet Explorer 6. I don't know where this is coming from, if it's this site or what (and I am in no way saying it is - I have no idea where this started - but it does happen when I am in here. It happens at other pages as well.). But, as of a few days ago, I can almost never just hit my "back" button anymore to go to my previous page. I get "links" from linkexchange and fastclick.net in my drop-down menu that aren't really links - if I do hit the "back" button it just reloads the same page I am on!!! :mad:

I am aware this is probably spyware :devil: of some kind. I have the latest version of ad-aware and the latest update and it is not killing it. I can't find any information on the net.

What's going on. Anyone know? How do I fix this? I've tried dumping cookies, and setting it so I have to individually accept or deny them - I deny ones I don't understand - that still didn't help!

I'm having the same problem. I hit the back button to get out of a thread it either throws up a pop up window or my email page on Aol.I cleaned every thing today made sure i only kept important cookies killed the rest. I also have to sign in 2or 3 times while i surf the board.:(

I'm realizing it is happening here often. I just surfed around ebay without that problem. Now that I'm here again, I've got linkexchange and fastclick in my back button drop down list again. If I hit back it just refreshes whatever page I am already on, and the offending fastclick or linkexchange listing goes away (until I change to another page here again - it comes right back). I thought it was happening at other pages, but maybe I was wrong...I'm not sure anymore.
Hopefully, someone will be able to help us!

I know that some sites will lock you in witha re-direct, but this isn't one of them. Not sure what could be causing this. Let me do some looking around.

I hate to say it, but after a few more days of watching where I surf, I have to say that this is only happening here. The exact addresses I get in my "back" drop down list while I am on the boards here are:

As I said previously, hitting "back" doesn't take me there, tho. It just refreshes this page - so I assume it's probably tracking me or something.
I've done everything I can think of (clearing out cookies and temp internet files, etc), but this "back" thing is driving me nuts! :confused:
