I would like to see one day of the week (i.e. Wednesday 80's Retreat) devoted to nothing but 80's music videos, interviews with 80's artists, and introductions of new songs and music videos by 80's artists. Any takers?

Well, I think that would be a great idea. Do you think we could start a petition showing VH1 that there are lots of people who want an 80s day/night like this? Do you think it's possible we get 10,000 signatures by means of 80sxchange.com? Maybe we can setup an online petition where people sign up and soughta sign the petition. If that were the case, I'm sure VH1 would atleast consider it...

BTW, MTV2 is having an 80s weekend showing 80s videos from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Eastern time this weekend (2-17 & 2-18)

I think this is a good idea, I mean, we've got radio surveys that have started creating 80's radio stations, I don't see why something like this wouldn't work.

Well, the only challenge here is to get thousands of signers.. Any ideas on how we can do that? We've only got almost 700 here and not all 700 still visit. This is the part we've got to think of. I'll create a page with a form of some kind that we all fill out. But where will we get the signers?

The only thing that I can think of is something like a webpage with the petition on it, and a guestbook for each of the signatures.
Can anything like that be done?

Then again, if that doesn't work, we could always start an Email writing campaign directed at MTV or VH1!!
